Hello, my name is Aileen. I am a rising senior. I am 17 years old. I have a blackbelt in Taekwondo, which I have been practicing since I was two years old.
I am a cheerleader for Union City Highschool. My hobbies include playing video games with friends, watching Netflix, and painting. I was part of a club that dealt with drug prevention. The school helped pay for a summer camp called Lindsey Meyer Teen Institute, they are part of partners of prevention. Their main goal is to inspire leaders and teach teenagers not to get influenced by peer pressure. This then led me to get a citizen award by Mayor/Senator Brian P. Stack.
Recently during quarantine, I have submitted research with Rutgers University, which was part of my AP Biology class. The research was on a plant called Landoltia, which is duckweed. I feel like that's cool, and it was a fun process. My favorite subjects are science and math! Also, I have a cute dog named Alvin!
